Peter Sheridan
Peter is back and his flutes have doubled in size! The 5-metre sub-contrabass flute has been dwarfed by the incredible 10-meter hyperbass flute. A normal flute will easily fit in a backpack and can be assembled in seconds. The hyperbass flute must be carried piece-by-piece and assembled on the spot where it is to be played. You don’t pop it in the car “just in case”!
The CD, released late June 2011, has a piece for hyperbass flute and electronics, as well as pieces showcasing the full range of low flutes from subcontrabass to the tiny alto flute. Also included are works for 4- and 5-part flute choir.

Monologues & Dialogues
This recording features the resonant and meditative sounds of the modern day low flutes. These austere, breathy and even creepy flute sounds should inspire an abundance of musical imaginations.
