Elden Loomes is a contemporary classical composer, cellist and physics student. Loomes ranked 2nd in the state in HSC Music 2. He writes an eclectic range of music, particularly specialising in works for large orchestra, and—at the other end of the scale—contemplative works for solo cello. His 3rd symphony, “of Love and War” was recently premiered by the Sydney Youth Orchestra Philharmonic. Elden currently plays cello with the Sydney Youth Orchestra Flagship and the Sydney University Symphony Orchestra.

Together Apart is a collection of original chamber music compositions by Sydney-based composer and UTS lecturer Brent Keogh. Written during the Covid-19 lockdown, the pieces reflect the tensions of that time but also hope for renewal.
