
Katie Anderson
Katie Anderson is an accomplished musician, conductor and teacher.
While completing a double degree in Music and Education from UNSW, she studied flute under professional flautists Karen Lonsdale and Kathleen Gallagher. She was a member of the Sydney Wind Symphony for over ten years and has performed both nationally and internationally with various ensembles. She has conducted and tutored flute for the NSW Performing Arts Unit and at State Music Camps, as well as at numerous High Schools and Primary Schools. Katie is currently teaching music at Manly Selective Campus, and has been since 2004.

Together Apart is a collection of original chamber music compositions by Sydney-based composer and UTS lecturer Brent Keogh. Written during the Covid-19 lockdown, the pieces reflect the tensions of that time but also hope for renewal.
