Katia Mestrovic

Katia is an eclectic modern-classical harpist-composer. She’s a High Distinction graduate from The Sydney Conservatorium of Music (2022).

Performance highlights include The World Harp Competition (Semi-finalist 2024), The BASEL International Harp Competition (Third place 2023), and her solo “Dance Rhythms” mattutino at Tempo Rubato (2024). She was awarded the Quinquin Foundation Scholarship (2021-2022), the William and Marie Souter Awards (2018-2020); and the BoM Scholarship (2017, UoM). She’s completed commissions for Penta Harp Ensemble, The Hush Foundation, and AMEB. She was awarded two feature spots by the World Harp Congress (2024), and has written two modern classical harp books (2021).
