Alister Spence
Alister Spence is an Australian jazz pianist and composer. He leads his own trio and writes across small-group jazz, larger ensembles, and film scores.
On Move he appears as composer and arranger on the hymn collection Sing Together Alleluia (MD 3291), recorded with singers and instrumentalists drawn from Uniting Churches in Melbourne.
Beyond the studio he has scored numerous films, including Beneath Clouds, which brought AFI and FCCA nominations for best original music score, alongside other screen works such as Journey, Dust, and In My Father's Country.
