Anthea Cottee
Anthea Cottee is a viol and viola da gamba player whose work moves between Renaissance consort music and contemporary Australian chamber repertoire.
She is linked with the Sydney viol consort Josie and the Emeralds, and appears as guest viol on their debut recording The Emerald Leopard (TP233), a programme of English Renaissance songs beside new writing and arrangements for viols.
Her viola da gamba also colours recent chamber scores that set early instruments against electronics and mixed ensembles, including the recomposed Marais-inspired movements on Uncovered Ground (MD 3456) and the string ensemble of the ritual chamber work Threading the Light (MCD 636).

This first collection of concert works by Felicity Wilcox gathers the cream of her chamber music from 2014 to 2018. It opens with the celebrated bass clarinet solo People of this Place, written for Jason Noble, and includes commissions for Ensemble Offspring, Ironwood and the Australia Ensemble, plus a movement from her first string quartet.
