Barry Cockcroft
Barry is at the forefront of classical and contemporary saxophone in Australia. In 1997 he performed in Germany, France, Spain, New Zealand, Brisbane and Melbourne. He teaches at the University of Melbourne and the Victorian College of the Arts and has also received critical acclaim for his contemporary compositions for saxophone.

He studied with the late Peter Clinch and for two years in France with Jacques Net, Marie-Bernadette Charrier and Jean-Marie Londeix gaining the coveted Medaille d'Or for saxophone performance. Barry teaches at the University of Melbourne and the Victorian College of the Arts and has received critical acclaim for his contemporary compositions for saxophone.
