Jeremy Alsop
Jeremy Alsop is an Australian bassist, composer and producer, long based in Melbourne, whose rock-steady and adventurous bass anchors contemporary jazz and groove settings.
He is a member of the World Rhythm Band, a Melbourne ensemble built around cross-cultural rhythm and improvisation. On Ya-de-ya (MD 3061) he plays bass and also works as composer and producer on a polished set that sits between nightclub soul and contemporary jazz.
