Much of his vocal music is lost, yet the surviving keyboard works show a highly developed technique shaped by Italian models and the south German organ tradition.

They include eight toccatas, six canzonas, four harpsichord suites, freestanding pieces such as the Capriccio sopra il Cucu, Battaglia, Ciaccona and Passacaglia, and the plainsong versets of the Modulatio Organica. His Passacaglia in D minor appears among the historic inaugural recitals on the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall Grand Organ.

A two-disc survey gathers the complete keyboard music, with the organ works recorded on the 1731 Egedacher organ at Stift Zwettl and the suites and Magnificat tones completed in Melbourne.
