Lisa Edwards
Lisa Edwards is an Australian solo and session singer, also active as a flautist and percussionist. In 1992 her cover of Cry reached the ARIA top five, and she has issued several studio albums alongside a long career as a backing vocalist.
Born in Adelaide in 1958 and long based in Melbourne, she began on the club circuit before building a career that spans pop, jazz, soundtrack and tribute work. Her solo releases include Thru the Hoop (1993), State of the Heart (2005) and I'm Still the Woman (2022). She appears as a performer on the Melbourne jazz set Ya-de-ya (MD 3061).
