Luke Spicer
Luke Spicer is a conductor and string player active in contemporary chamber music. He appears both as a soloist and as a conductor with vocal and instrumental ensembles.
As a string soloist he features on Threading the Light (MCD 636), a four-movement work for voices, strings, percussion and electronics built around ritual and elemental imagery.
He conducts the ensemble on This Moment Must Be Sung (TP250), a programme of chamber songs spanning song cycles and standalone settings for one and two voices with varied instrumental forces.
He has also conducted the Sydney University Symphony Orchestra.
