Nicole Forsyth is a violist and baroque violinist heard on Australian chamber and early-music recordings, spanning contemporary song cycles and Handel cantatas.
On Cool Black (MCD 396) she plays viola in three chamber song cycles setting poems by Apollinaire, Lorca and Harðarson.
With the Melbourne baroque ensemble Arcadia she contributes baroque violin to Handel: Italian Cantatas (TP173), five dramatic works from the composer’s early years in Italy and London.
