BACH Goldberg Variations and Original Transcriptions

In recent years Cameron Roberts has enjoyed growing success as one of Australia's finest young artists. In this his debut CD, Cameron brings us an all Bach recital. The program begins with the monumental Goldberg variations followed by Roberts' own intimate transcription of the arias , 'Aus Liebe will mein Heiland Sterben' from the St. Matthew Passion, BWV 244, and 'Es ist Vollbracht' from the St. John Passion, BWV 245, and concludes with his truly virtuosic transcription of Brandenburg Concerto number 3, BWV 1048.
