Ernest Chausson
Ernest Chausson (1855–1899) was a French Romantic composer. His chamber and concert works, marked by lyrical intensity, include the celebrated violin Poème.
His Poème, Op. 25, is heard on Poème: Music for the Romantic Violin (MD 3223), among French works written in Paris at the end of the nineteenth century.
