Frank Millward
Frank is an Australian / Italian composer, performer and educator. His music occupies a space between traditional and futuristic, emphasising the importance of the continuity of experience in the interplay between past and present.
Working to synthesise musical exploration and philosophical inquiry, his music seeks to resonate with the intellect and the sound, the performer and the listener, the idea and its realisation. This is heard in recent works such as, Trying to Remember What I Chose to Forget, The Museum of Hope and Knowing Where to Belong. He is a composer with a sense of purpose who flourishes in collaborative partnerships or in large scale community engagement.
