Gavan McCarthy

Gavan McCarthy is an Australian composer-performer and a member of the improvising ensemble LIME, which he helped form after composition and improvisation studies at La Trobe University.

With LIME he crafts original music in real time on handmade and pottery instruments. On Move he appears as composer and performer on Clay Music (MD 3065), music prepared for the national ceramic conference at the Performing Arts Centre, Melbourne, in 1985.
