John Lyle
John Lyle is a string section leader whose playing supports major Australian jazz scores inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings.
He is credited as leader of the strings on The Lord of the Rings, Vol. 3 (MD 3253) and on the companion set Landscapes of Middle Earth (MD 3254), where woodwinds, guitars, strings, percussion and voices sketch reflective Middle-earth landscapes. He is linked with Pro Musica Strings.
