John W. Peterson
John W. Peterson (1921–2006) was an American songwriter whose evangelical Christian output includes more than a thousand songs and some thirty-five cantatas, among them Night of Miracles.
His carol Sleep, Holy Child, taken from the cantata Night of Miracles, is included on the Christmas recital programme Looking to the Light (MCD 365).
