Louise Page and Phillipa Candy are among Australia's most experienced recital pairs, with many awards for their work. Based in Canberra, they had performed together for over fifteen years when this disc was made.
The recording answered requests after their popular Christmas concerts in 2006. The programme mixes sacred favourites and Australian carols with lighter children's Christmas songs, presented as soprano and piano recital repertoire.
