Keren Terpstra
Keren Terpstra is an Australian composer of contemporary sacred choral music. Her short works have been written for, and recorded by, Brisbane chamber choirs.
Her setting Light was composed for Canticum Chamber Choir and appears on Luminescence (MCD 558), a programme of twentieth- and twenty-first-century sacred and secular works on the theme of light.
Arise my love, my fair one is included on Mass of the Dreaming (TP239), a collection of Australian sacred choral music.

Light is integral to colour, and musical integrity is often described in terms of its colour or luminescence. Celebrating Canticum’s 21st birthday, the programme seeks composers whose music shows a particular sensitivity to the choral instrument and to beautiful text.
