Lorraine Milne
Lorraine Milne is a composer of songs for young children. Her pieces sit among nursery rhymes and early-childhood repertoire, often marking ordinary moments in a child’s day.
Her writing includes songs such as Sunning, Mud and O Matilda, heard on the children’s collection Did You See the Wind Today? (MD 3083), and further pieces on Captain Quaver’s Merry Go Rounds (MD 3113).
She has also worked as a performer and arranger on The Fair Dinkum Matilda (MD 3175), a set of Australian bush songs.
