Ron Falson

Ron Falson plays in the lively little orchestra John Sangster gathered for his five Jazz music suites, joining some of Australia's finest jazz musicians on writing full of humour, swing and inventive colour.

Sangster built these suites for a small band that could turn on a dime: doo-wup bounce one moment, requiem the next, then straight back into the fray. Falson is part of the ensemble that makes the scores land tight and playful, the kind of playing that keeps the humour and the heat in the room and rewards long listening.
