Ross Mitchell
Ross Mitchell is a violinist specialising in early music, heard in sacred repertoire from chant and Renaissance motets through to late-Baroque cantatas.
On Buxtehude: Cantatas (TP157) he plays violin in Italian-style sacred motets and cantatas for solo, duo and trio voices with instruments, recorded in the Chapel of the Carmelite Monastery in Kew, Melbourne.
He also appears on O Rose So Red (MD 3209), a programme of Marian chants, songs and motets spanning more than a millennium.
