Sally-Anne Russell

Sally-Anne Russell is an Australian mezzo-soprano who has sung opera, concert and recital repertoire across Australia and in the United States, Britain and New Zealand.

She is co-artistic director of the Albury Chamber Music Festival and has served on the artistic councils of the Kathaumixw Festival in Canada and the Belvedere International Singing Competition in Vienna. Her baroque recordings have earned ARIA Award nominations for Best Classical Album.

On Move she takes the alto part in Brahms’s Liebeslieder Walzer (MCD 064) and sings Handel’s Verdi prati on Senzenina (MCD 112).
