As a well-known soloist, Jeffrey Crellin has appeared on many occasions with the Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Queensland and Tasmanian symphony orchestras, as well as orchestras from both Germany and Japan. in 1989 he toured all mainland Australian states for Musica Viva as a guest artist with the Reger Trio from West Germany. He is founding member of the Australian Chamber Soloists, the Melbourne based chamber ensemble and currently directs the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra.
Guitarist, Jochen Schubert is a versatile performer, offering solo-recitals and chamber-music; he also works as an orchestra-musician, conductor, arranger, lecturer and accompanist.
The Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra was formed in 1967 by Peter Evans and Josef Ruecker. Their aim was to develop and maintain a mandolin orchestra in Melbourne. As well as performing regularly, the group organises summer schools, trips from overseas groups, trains new players, holds musical workshops and masterclasses and commissions music.
