Haven Gillespie
Haven Gillespie (1888–1975) was an American Tin Pan Alley composer and lyricist, best known for the Christmas standard Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town.
Working mainly as a lyricist in collaboration with other writers, he also left popular songs such as You Go to My Head, That Lucky Old Sun, Breezin’ Along with the Breeze, Honey, and Beautiful Love. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1972.
