Nick Haywood
Nick Haywood is an Australian jazz double bassist with an extensive performance career alongside leading Australian and international musicians, and with numerous television and film soundtrack credits.
He has worked widely with Australian and international jazz musicians, among them Dale Barlow, Paul Grabowsky and James Morrison, and has many television credits as well as appearances on numerous CDs and film soundtracks.
On Move he is heard on bass across small-group jazz dates, including Mark Lockett’s About Time (MCD 267), the Christopher Young Quartet’s Brood Groove (MD 3348) and Atmospheros (MD 3408), and the spontaneous trio session 2 Pinots 2 Pales and 2 Hours (MD 3393).
