Stephen Hadley
Stephen Hadley is an Australian bassist whose work moves between contemporary jazz and screen music. On Move he is heard on acoustic bass and bass in improvised sessions and on film and television scores.
He plays acoustic bass on the partly improvised programme of Gould Plays Gould (MD 3021), and bass on the free-leaning title piece of Wildflowers (MD 3051).
Later studio work includes bass on the richly scored mini-series music of After the Deluge (MD 3272) and on the lighter, more contemporary cues of The Rage in Placid Lake (MD 3278).
