Aided by an ability to play a substantial number of Bach’s keyboard works and other repertoire from memory, Judith has given many recitals in England, where she lived for 23 years, and throughout Europe.

Bach wrote the six French Suites around 1722 to 1725. Without the preludes of the English Suites and Partitas, these elegant dance suites are shorter. Each opens with Allemande and Courante, then a lyrical Sarabande, lighter dances, and a rollicking Gigue.
