Recorded at their first concert on their own at the Melbourne Concert Hall for the first St David's Day of the new millennium (1 March 2000), the choir is joined by accompanist Linda O'Brien and special guests organist Rhys Boak, harpist Delyth Stafford and mezzo soprano Lynlee Williams.
The programme mixes Welsh hymns and folk songs with popular favourites, from Danny Boy and Myfanwy to The World in Union, Shosholoza and I Still Call Australia Home, and closes with the Welsh national anthem Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau.

The Melbourne Welsh Male Voice Choir was formed in 1984 by mainly Welsh migrants who wished to bring the male-voice tradition of their homeland to Victoria. It has kept that heritage while shaping a distinctive Australian sound and a wide concert repertoire.
