Nehama Patkin
Nehama Patkin is an Australian pianist and teacher, associated with Melbourne and the University of Melbourne Conservatorium.
Her playing is heard on Move in both jazz and chamber settings. On Wildflowers (MD 3051) she is the pianist in the extended track The Old Stockrider, with violin, cello and percussion. On Journeys (MD 3058) she appears in Australian works written for saxophone and clarinet, including Lovelock’s Three Sketches for clarinet and piano.
As a teacher she has guided young pianists in Melbourne, among them players who went on to compose and conduct.
