Nick Alexander
Nick Alexander is a musician and producer whose Move recordings span conducting, piano, spinet and marimba, as well as production and assistance on contemporary church music, hymn programmes and organ repertoire.
He conducts on Move Two Mix (MD 3001) and plays spinet and marimba on its companion Seven Whole Days (MD 3004). On Gabriel's Mother's Highway (MD 3007) he is heard on piano and credited as executive producer. He also produced Festival of Organ Masterpieces (MD 3020) and assisted on the hymn collections Sing Out With Joy (MD 3032) and Songs and Praises (MD 3142).

Move Two Mix gathers religious songs and hymns with music by Jim Minchin, marrying familiar sacred texts to jazz- and folk-inflected settings. First issued in 1968, this pioneering Melbourne recording brought contemporary idioms into church worship.
