Tony Ansell
Tony Ansell is a keyboardist and synthesiser player whose electric piano and synthesiser colours Australian jazz sessions of the late twentieth century.
On Move he is heard on synthesisers and electric piano in the expansive jazz scores of The Lord of the Rings, Vol. 3 (MD 3253), and as a performer on The Lord of the Rings, Vol. 2 (MD 3252).
The same keyboard voice supports the film music of Fluteman (MD 3370) and the quiet, reflective set Peaceful (MD 3439), where electric piano sits among flute, saxophone, vibraphone and guitar in gently paced, atmospheric jazz.

Fluteman
John Sangster wrote the score for the little-known 1982 Australian film Fluteman. Led by Don Burrows on flute, with eight other jazz players, the music makes wonderful listening quite apart from the picture.
