Grantley McDonald

Grantley McDonald is a Melbourne tenor whose catalogue work centres on mediaeval and renaissance vocal repertoire with specialist early-music ensembles.

He sings tenor with Les Six, the Melbourne group formed to perform mediaeval and renaissance music in authentic style, and appears on their Easter programme Hæc Dies (MD 3144), music for Mass as it may have been heard at Notre Dame in Paris around 1220. He is also a member of Troubadours, heard on Troubadours Live (MCD 675), and has sung with The Choir of Ormond College, for whose European-tour disc Kodály Missa Brevis (MD 3201) he contributed the liner notes.

The vocal group Les Six were formed specifically to perform mediaeval and renaissance repertoire in authentic style.
