Deborah Kayser
Deborah Kayser is an Australian soprano whose work spans Byzantine and medieval chant, French and German Baroque song, and scored and improvised contemporary music. She tours in Australia, Europe and Asia, and appears regularly as a soloist on disc and on ABC FM.
As a member of Jouissance and the contemporary music ensembles Elision and Libra, she has given radical interpretations of Byzantine and medieval chant, and has premiered works written specifically for her voice by composers in Australia and abroad.
