A mid-1980s vocal synth-pop take on familiar Australian folk songs by The Australia Music Band, whose members include Peter Barlow and Brenton Broadstock.
The programme reworks bush ballads and folk standards such as Waltzing Matilda, Click Go the Shears and Botany Bay with synthesizers, percussion and close vocal harmony.
Arrangements are by Peter Barlow and Brenton Broadstock, with Broadstock also producing.

Banjo Paterson
Banjo Paterson (1864–1941) was an Australian bush poet, journalist and author whose ballads helped define colonial Australian identity. His 1895 song Waltzing Matilda is widely regarded as Australia’s unofficial national anthem.
