Conducted by the composer, the Symphonic Wind Ensemble of the Johannes-Gutenberg-University, Mainz, performs George Dreyfus’ complete music for wind orchestra.
The programme includes the rare band version of Rush, the theme from Waterfront, Larino, Safe Haven, and much more: a compact survey of Dreyfus’s concert-band writing and a natural companion to his other Move titles.
