Kevin Kanisius Suherman presents the new Schimmel Konzert 219 concert grand in a recital that sets Romantic and early twentieth-century piano works beside his own arrangements of Indonesian song.

Recorded at Move Records Studio, Eaglemont, and presented at World Heritage Rippon Lea on 16 August 2015, the programme pairs Liszt, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky and Ravel with Suherman’s piano arrangements of two Indonesian songs.

Kevin Kanisius Suherman was born on 17 December 1994 in Bandung, Indonesia. He began the piano at six, studying classical repertoire with Stephen Sulungan and pop and jazz with Bambang Nugroho, and in 2008 entered Melbourne Grammar School on a full music scholarship under Professor Max Cooke.
